Top 5: Most Memorable moments of 2014 NFL Season

The NFL had it's ups and downs in the 2014 season. No one, and I mean NO ONE could have predicted the wild outcome of the season. Many key events topped headlines across the country during the 2014 NFL season, these are my top five.

5. Jermaine Kearse Super Bowl Catch

Everyone knows the unbelieveable awareness that is required of a Wide Reciever. A catch like Jermaine Kearse's in the Super Bowl took me back to the one of the many Monday Night Miracles with Antonio Freeman making the game winning catch against the Vikings in 2000. This catch only made it to five because of events that played on later in the game that made the catch fade away (Continue reading for more).

4.Seahawks fourth quarter miracle against Green Bay

After leading 16-0 at halftime, Packer fans like myself were getting ready for a Super Bowl XXXI rematch, when the unexpected happened. It was remarkable to watch. I have never seen a team crumble like that in my life. Green Bay was on the winning end of many of these that I have witnessed, but being on this side of the loss really was mind boggling.

3. THE Catch

This one's probably gonna get some head's to turn. The best catch in NFL history is only number 3? I do agree with most. Odell Beckham's Sunday Night Catch was the best catch in NFL history, even topping Brett Grimes interception from earlier in the year. I believe that there was more mind blowing things that occured than this.

2. Super Bowl XLIX

For the second time in Super Bowl history, a team came one yard short of a Super Bowl title. Instead, they decided to throw the football into tight coverage with the best runningback in the league in your backfield. Both teams could have handled the matter better, but the Seahawks play calling will be questioned for ages.

1. Trouble, Trouble, Trouble

The worst always seems to stick with you. Do you remember the 2013 record of the Miami Dolphins? No, but you remember BULLYING. You are gonna have a hard time passing up all the bad that came with the 2014 NFL season. Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, the Deflate Gate, Johnny Football, even Letroy Guion and the Atlanta Falcons as more recent stories, the NFL is having a hard time on the field because of all of these off the field miscues.
